Ecological conditions: annual average temperature 16℃, annual precipitation 150mm, deep soil, mostly sandy loam. Tea tree varieties: Buds and leaves are tender and small.
Three characteristics of picking
Early picking is the most valuable. There is a saying that “picking early for three days is a treasure, picking late for three days is weed” and “don’t pick the golden buds after the Grain Rain”. Usually the best Longjing tea is picked before Qingming Festival, called Mingqian tea, and the quality of the tea picked before Grain Rain is still good, called Yuqian tea.
