Most flowers in the world have color but no fragrance, or have fragrance but no color. Only roses, Chinese roses, red plums, etc. are both beautiful and fragrant. In addition to their ornamental value, they are also good raw materials for scented tea and aromatic oils.

Rose, formerly known as wandering flower, is native to my country, Korea and Japan. It has many varieties, and together with Chinese rose, it can be said to be the largest family of flowers. Because roses are rich in volatile aroma components such as citronellol, geraniol, phenylethyl alcohol and benzyl alcohol, they have a sweet aroma. They are the main additive for the fragrance of instrument cosmetics and the main raw material for black tea scented flowers. People in Guangdong, Shanghai and Fujian in my country love to drink rose black tea. The famous ones include Guangdong rose black tea and Hangzhou Jiuquhong rose tea. It blooms in summer, the flowers are solitary, purple-red to white, and have a strong fragrance. The flowers and roots can be used as medicine, which has the effects of regulating qi and promoting blood circulation and astringency.

Rose: Small flowers, single petals, white or light red, mostly in clustered umbels, flowering period from May to June, double petals pink, mostly cultivated for ornamental purposes, slightly fragrant. After the roses are picked, they are spread out appropriately, petals are folded, pedicles and stamens are picked, and the clean petals are sent to the scent. Guangdong rose black tea is scented individually, with 10-16 kg of flowers for 100 kg of tea; Fujian rose green tea is scented twice and one bag, with a total of 50 kg of flowers for 100 kg of tea; Jiuquhongmei is scented once and one bag, with a flower quantity of 20 kg.
