Complex and layered aroma
The uniqueness of this Pu’er tea lies in its complex, multi-layered aroma. Take a sip and you’ll experience a smooth, milky flavor, with the sweetness of honey perfectly balancing the light bitterness.
After a second, the tea presents an explosive aroma of forest floor, moss, leather and seaweed, transporting your mind to the ancient forests of Yibang. As the aroma gradually subsides, a lingering floral aftertaste is left in the mouth. Even hours later, you can still taste the aroma of this tea in your mouth.
After 3-4 steeps, the incredible aroma of the tea will make your back sweat. As you sweat, your body will be deeply relaxed and the stress in your mind will be swept away.
If you’ve ever seen a movie that was so fascinating, you immediately want to invite your friends to watch it again, right? This tea feels that way to us. Once you try this tea, you’ll want to invite your tea friends to experience it together.
Yibang small leaf variety
As one of the “Six Great Tea Mountains”, Yibang stands out for its local small-leaf tea. The other five are Yiwu, Manzhuan, Youle, Mangzhi and Gedeng.
Among the six major tea mountains, Yibang Mountain has the highest altitude (1,950 meters), while the lowest altitude in the Yibang area is 565 meters. This superior vertical ecology makes Yibang Mountain the only place where large-leaf, medium-leaf and small-leaf varieties grow.
Yibang is famous for its small-leaf varieties, which are characterized by dark green, flat leaves with long pubescent hairs.
