2014 Fuding Gongmei White Tea Cake

Gongmei cakes come from Fujian and are the most produced type of white tea. They are made from one bud and two or three leaves of the white tea tree and then fermented. It is a “slightly fermented tea” and the longer it is stored, the mellower and sweeter it tastes. It can cure “pyrophoria” and in Vietnam, Gongmei is also a good medicine for treating high fever in children.
