Is spore tea white tea or Pu’er tea?
Spore tea is only hand-picked and then sun-dried, so there is minimal processing. It also tastes similar to white tea, soft and smooth with a floral aroma. Some tea drinkers consider Spore tea to be raw Pu’er tea because it can be aged like Pu’er tea. That being said, Spore tea is unique in that it is made from the young buds of the Camellia sinensis tree, rather than tea leaves or tea buds.
