Description
Keemun black tea, produced in Qimen County in the southern end of Anhui Province, is referred to as “Qimen black tea”. It is known as one of the four famous teas in the world along with Assam black tea, Darjeeling black tea and Ceylon Highland black tea. Keemun black tea is one of the Queen of England’s favorite black teas.
Keemun black tea trees grow in very favorable conditions, they are born in hilly areas, surrounded by high mountains and dense forests, with an annual rainfall of more than 1,600 mm. Due to the favorable growing conditions, the black tea leaves produced are tender and soft.
The best time to taste Keemun black tea is August, among which “Fuliang Gongfu Black Tea” is the best quality Keemun black tea.
Keemun black tea has “strong fragrance, mellow taste, beautiful shape and bright color”. After brewing, the tea soup is bright red, with rich fragrance and mellow taste, and can be used for blending.
Keemun black tea has a special aroma. Foreigners call it “Qimen fragrance”, “Prince fragrance” and “the best among all flowers”, and it is deeply loved by tea lovers.
